Falsterbo House | Breaking Ground in the North

We are very pleased to see Falsterbo House now starting on site along the Northumberland coast. It is always a special moment when the hard work of drawings and careful decisions begins to translate into making on site. Seeing the ground broken and the first slab pour underway marks the beginning of a new chapter for this remarkable mid-century home and our client.

Falsterbo House sits beneath a vast northern sky overlooking the North Sea. The existing building holds a beautiful modernist clarity, one that we have worked carefully to protect while undertaking a deep refurbishment and significant uplift in energy performance and thermal comfort. The ambition is simple: to guard the flame of the original architecture and its proportion, while enabling the house to support contemporary living for its next generation.

It has been a pleasure working with our clients on this thoughtful transformation. A true collaboration. Their care for detail and deep respect for the existing architecture has shaped the project from the very beginning. We know the house is in very capable hands as construction begins, and we look forward to seeing Falsterbo House continue to take shape on site. Look out for more updates as work progresses.
