Two Projects Shortlisted

We are delighted to announce that two of our latest projects have been shortlisted for prestigious architecture awards. Castle High, a stunning residence for a large family nestled within a coastal national park on the Celtic fringe, has been shortlisted for the RSAW Architecture Awards.

Meanwhile, Quatrefoil House, our latest retrofit project located in the heart of an Oxford conservation area, has been selected as a contender for the RIBA South Awards.

At Hyde + Hyde Architects, we are passionate about designing and creating spaces that inspire and elevate the human experience. We believe that architecture should not only be functional but also sustainable and touch the soul. These two projects represent our search for rigour in every aspect of our work.

Castle High is a unique and luxurious home that seamlessly blends into the breathtakingly wild landscape of the Pembrokeshire national park. With sweeping views of the sea and distant mountains, the house was designed to maximise natural light and create a sense of openness and connection with nature, while resisting the heavy storms that continually confront this ancient landscape.

Quatrefoil House, on the other hand, is a masterful retrofit of a historic building that respects its heritage while introducing contemporary references to ornament and sustainable features. The result is a refined and functional series of spaces. A home that celebrates history and embraces the future.

We look forward to the announcement in May and feel truly honoured to have our work recognised by these prestigious institutions.
