Pennard House

Recognised as ‘Best Contemporary House’ in the Daily Telegraph Homebuilding Awards, Pennard House celebrates warm frames and cool planes. The home exudes privacy and open plan living while integrating subtle references inspired by the local vernacular of the Gower Peninsula. Welsh slate walls defend the boundary between the external world and home while large expanses of glass invite nature inside. A timber-clad master bedroom cantilevers over a lap pool that extends outward from an inner courtyard to give the impression of infinite space. Pennard House symbolises origin, matter and form and, as our first build, it is the space where the journey began.
