The Journey - Seasons Greetings

Time to reflect on this extraordinary journey, but first, a confession… In the midst of immersing ourselves in the craft we love, it's easy to overlook the rich tapestry of experiences and the considerable ground we’ve covered this year. So today, we are taking a moment to pause and appreciate some of the epic milestones we've collectively achieved in 2023.
Highlights included:
• Winning 2 RIBA Awards: the first for Quatrefoil House, located within a conservation area in the city of Oxford, and Castle High, floating above a coastal National Park on the edge of Wales, overlooking the Irish Sea.
• We also completed designs for a project in Scotland, a new remote off-grid home that swoops in and lands on a beautiful expanse of water in the wilderness, surrounded by Caledonian pines and deep solitude. Our team is very excited to share some updates on this home shortly.
• In addition, we completed designs for a new substantial home in Oxford for a family of scientists on the outskirts of the city.
• Our studio visited Southern Europe and presented our designs for a substantial new home with expansive cantilever terraces and pools located in sunny Faro in southern Portugal.
• Welcoming our new architect in Switzerland and Austria, and joining our team at the height of summer while visiting the Peter Zumthor Exhibition in the Werkraum was a special experience of learning and rejuvenation.
• And finally, it was wonderful to see coverage of two of our award-winning projects in The Wall Street Journal, sharing our work with millions across the globe.
Our ability to create truly impactful work is only made possible by the incredible support of our clients. As the saying goes, 'Trust should be earned, not given,' and with this in mind, we are committed to continually striving for the exceptional. We express our sincere gratitude to those who have chosen to work with us and 'build emotion.'
Additionally, we take a bow and thank our remarkable team of consultants, contractors, artists, photographers, marketers, filmmakers, interior designers, and all collaborators who contribute to our endeavours. These are the people who manifest magic.
A huge thank you also to our followers. Your feedback and unwavering enthusiasm add depth and authenticity to the narrative we never expected. We are thankful for every connection made and look forward to continuing this.
Looking ahead, we're excited about the new projects in the pipeline, those on the boards here in the studio pushing limits, and those out on-site nearing completion, both here and abroad.
