Universal Works + tokyobike.

Universal Works have joined forces once again with Japanese bicycle brand, tokyobike and created a custom bicycle, developed with the transport needs of the UW. team in mind. The 20 inch wheel Mini Velo frame was chosen for its easy rideability. They needed a design that would be comfortable for staff of all shapes, heights and sizes to use. The cargo rack and optional mudguards guarantee a smooth, clean ride – whatever the British weather.

The Homeless Man Who Built a Wooden House.

A man who built himself an elaborate wooden house on a London pavement says he wanted to make it look good so he didn’t disturb people in the local area. The former London Underground worker Lukas told The Big Issue: “I had nowhere to live, so it was a choice between sleeping behind a bin or building myself a house.”

Sporting a numbered, locking front door and a fence, the house sits on a pavement in London’s poorest borough. Lukas built it from a wardrobe that was being thrown away, borrowing a hammer and some nails from a DIY shop. Once he got to work, it took him two days over the weekend to complete.

Dino Shows Up For Ferrari.

Many car aficionados on our social media feeds noticed that some Ferrari heritage was on full display during our recent photoshoot in Oxford, celebrating the completion of our Quatrefoil House. Unknown to many - Dino was the marque of the rear-drive sports car produced by Ferrari from 1957-1976.
