VW Living Billboard.

To help raise awareness of the new all-electric ID. family, Volkswagen created a one-of-a-kind living billboard on Prince Street in Manchester. Measuring 12x3 metres and made entirely from different types of moss, the billboard uses power generated by wind and sun to capture harmful carbon dioxide.

All Melody is the latest work and tour by contemporary composer and pianist, Nils Frahm. This BBC World Service programme reveals the creative, emotional and physical processes involved when new material is combined with vast stage shows for an international schedule of truly daunting proportions. Listeners also treated to an immersive binaural experience, recorded at London’s Barbican Centre.

The Power of Good Design.

Back in the late 1970s, Industrial Designer Dieter Rams was becoming increasingly concerned by the state of the world around him: “An impenetrable confusion of forms, colours and noises.” Aware that he was a significant contributor to that world, he asked himself an important question: is my design good design? His answer is expressed in his ten principles for good design. Vitsœ, together with Dieter Rams, have produced this little book which includes those principles.
