The Royal Society of Architects Wales has invited Hyde + Hyde Architects to develop a design for the Architecture Pavilion for the National Eisteddfod 2014.
An eclectic mix of old and new, the traditional and the modern, the Eisteddfod is a celebration of Wales, its culture and its language. This year the event will be held in Carmarthenshire.
The pavilion will be smaller in size than in recent years; with a smaller budget it is hoped that a simple structure can be created to celebrate and give insight into some of the creative output in wales during 2014.
Conceptual design work for the pavilion is now underway.
