A new high quality domestic project completes on site in Cardiff

The 73m² addition to the rear of the home was part of a larger overhaul of the property which included replacing curved glass windows.

The contemporary extension appears as a simple box peeping above the layers of existing green glazed tiles of the existing home when viewed from the front.

The extension features a number of overhangs, cantilevers and canopies to shelter its occupants from the persistent Welsh rain and is linked to the main house through a single storey glazed ‘living and entertaining space that opens up to a mature garden.

The project has recently been published in the Architects Journal and Building Design Magazine.
