Adain Avion Cultural Olympiad 2012. An exhibition showcasing our potential projects within the city – held within the fuselage of a DC09 aeroplane that took up temporary residence in the City of Swansea.
We submitted work for the ‘reflecting Wales exhibition’ at the Welsh Assembly, Cardiff Bay. We were among a select group of architects accepted by an independent judging panel for exhibition, out of 67 submissions.
Hyde + Hyde architects have been awarded the Plaque of Merit at the Blaenau Gwent 2010 National Eisteddfod of Wales. The architecture awards are realised with the Royal Society of Architects in Wales.

The aim of these prestigious awards is to promote excellence in the study of architecture and to encourage architectural debate world-wide. Kristian Hyde was nominated in 2002 and his work was exhibited at the RIBA London.
Design work by Hyde + Hyde architects has been included in a new book by Lorraine Farrelly. The book is an overview of techniques used by leading professionals to communicate architectural ideas.
A project by Hyde + Hyde architects for a chapel at Oxwich Point on the Gower Peninsula was exhibited at the RIBA in 2002. Kristian Hyde gives a personal and reflective account of the scheme and the thinking behind its conception.
Hyde + Hyde architects celebrated the opening of a new exhibition; ‘marking space’ at Swansea’s Mission Gallery in Gloucester Place in the emerging Maritime Quarter. The exhibition displayed a series of recent works.
