The Slip Bridge
Swansea
2012
The Beacon in the Bay – A project that looks to rejuvenate abandoned historic structures within the city of Swansea.
Imagine something which was once lost, invisible and redundant – reawakened to take on new meaning; becoming the beacon in the bay. A new landmark and place to be.
A hub of activity, coffee, theatre, film, cake, art, dance, a garden…what do you want the slip to be? An adaptable cultural hub in the city that is flexible to accommodate the cities needs for generations.
A typical day in the slip: 9am mother toddler group. 11am yoga. 1pm knitters circle. 5pm brownies. 7pm life drawing.
A volume of possibilities… Just imagine.
