The Ghost Train takes inspiration from an old abandoned railway bridge in the City of Swansea.

Imagine something which was once lost, a railway bridge that was once critical to the prosperity of a city.

Like a ghost – the new proposal with an exciting programme and unique form, captures the spirit and movement of the coal trains that once passed alongside it.

A new platform is proposed across the River Tawe using the existing abandoned bridge supports on which we propose; a small park, a rowing club for the University, a flexible performance space and a community hall – bringing communities together.
